Abrex Privacy Policy

Abrex is a marketplace that matches drivers and passengers for shared rides. This page explains what information we collect and how it's used.

Location

We collect your device's location:

• To show you nearby ride offers or requests
• When you create a ride offer or request, to set your pickup point
• While you're actively matched to a ride and waiting for it to start, so you and the other rider(s) or driver can see each other's approximate position and find one another

We do not track your location in the background, and we do not collect your location once a trip is underway or when you're not using the app.

Phone Number

We collect your phone number to create your account and verify it's really you. Your phone number is only shared with a driver or passenger you're matched with on an active ride — it is never shown publicly to other users browsing the app.

Payment

Abrex does not process, store, or have access to any payment information. Drivers list their own payment accounts (bank, mobile money, or cash), and payment happens directly between drivers and passengers, outside the app. We only record a self-reported confirmation that payment was made — Abrex is not a party to any payment transaction.

What we don't do

We do not show ads, use third-party analytics or advertising SDKs, or sell your data to anyone.

Data Retention

Your account information is retained while your account is active. You may request deletion of your account and associated data by contacting us below.
