Abrex Privacy Policy

Abrex is a marketplace that matches drivers and passengers for shared rides. This page explains what information we collect and how it's used.

Location

We collect your device's location:

• To show you nearby ride offers or requests
• When you create a ride offer or request, to set your pickup point
• While you're actively matched to a ride and waiting for it to start, so you and the other rider(s) or driver can see each other's approximate position and find one another

We do not track your location in the background, and we do not collect your location once a trip is underway or when you're not using the app.

Phone Number

We collect your phone number to create your account and verify it's really you. Your phone number is only shared with a driver or passenger you're matched with on an active ride — it is never shown publicly to other users browsing the app.

Photos

You may choose to upload a profile photo. If you do, it's shown to other users you're matched with on a ride, so you can recognize each other. Your profile photo is stored on our servers, and you can remove it at any time from your profile.

National ID

You may choose to submit a photo of your government-issued ID (front and back) to help verify your identity and improve trust and safety on Abrex. Your ID photos are stored securely on our servers and are only accessible to Abrex's internal team for identity review — they are never shown to other users and are never shared with any third party.

Payment

Abrex does not process, store, or have access to any payment information. Drivers list their own payment accounts (bank, mobile money, or cash), and payment happens directly between drivers and passengers, outside the app. We only record a self-reported confirmation that payment was made — Abrex is not a party to any payment transaction.

What we don't do

We do not show ads, use third-party analytics or advertising SDKs, or sell your data to anyone.

Delete Your Account

To request deletion of your Abrex account and associated data, email firemarkbot@gmail.com from the phone number or account you signed up with, with the subject "Account Deletion Request".

We will delete your account, ride history, profile photo, ID photos, and any personal information within 30 days of your request. Some anonymized transaction records may be retained for legal and safety purposes.

Data Retention

Your account information is retained while your account is active. You may request deletion at any time using the instructions above.
